Summer, Gaming Addiction, and Zombies!

Today was the last day of Business Communications and I'm sort of relieved because it feels like summer is getting a lot closer everyday. I'm not sure about what today's topic of blog should be so I will just talk about random stuff on my mind.

Read an article on MSN about addictions to online video games like World of Warcraft, Everquest and even Farmville (a terrible virtual farming game hosted by Facebook). These people spend every minute of their spare time playing in a virtual world and some of them are even going bankrupt exchanging all of their money into virtual currency from the game. I have nothing against video games because I love them, however I do think the point when someone can't pay their bills because they spent all of their cash on a "virtual world" is beyond ridiculous.

I have an interesting thought about zombies. If a cow gets infected with "zombie disease" does it eat other cows? Human zombies eat other humans because we are omnivores, cows on the other hand are herbivores. So I can't help but wonder whether zombie cows would eat other cows/animals or strictly plants and veggies. What do you think?

Bang Bang

A video I made back in high school for a media project. Thinking about making a couple more in the summer for fun.

Workout Playlist

I haven't done any type of physical exercise for as long as I can remember. As soon as school is over I'm gonna start a "serious" exercise routine to get back in shape. For those of you who listen to music while you work out here are 5 songs I highly recommend for a workout playlist.

5. Beat it - Michael Jackson

4. Eye of the Tiger - Survivor (a cliche pick)

3. Going the Distance - Bill Conti (from the Rocky Soundtrack)

2. War - Mos Def

1. Intergalactic - Beastie Boys (the energy on this track never stops!)

Summer flicks

Summer is approaching soon which means we'll be able to do things like going to the beach, jogging, eating ice-cream, but more importantly.....watching movies! Everyone knows summertime is the best time to go out for movies because this is when Hollywood heavyweights such as Paramount and Sony duke it out for the box-office. Here is a list of my top 5 most anticipated movies of Summer 2010.

5. Predators

4. Jonah Hex

3. The A-Team

2. Iron Man 2

1. The Expendables (Sly Stallone, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bruce Willis) How could you go wrong?

Pacman ghosts vs Ghostbusters

Just something funny I found on the internet.

American Pie Weekend

I got sick right before the weekend so I've spent the last few days sitting at home watching movies. Out of boredom I downloaded all the American Pie films (thanks to modern day pirates) and noticed from sequel to sequel they just kept getting worse (same gags, lame plot, etc.) I don't think that all American Pie movies are bad, but I believe that 1-3 were the only decent ones in the franchise. I don't understand why Oz isn't in the third movie. how can one of the main characters just be cut out of a sequel and not even be mentioned for the entire film? The Series should have just ended after this movie, there is no need for this franchise to be milked with terrible straight to DVD spin-offs.
